Engaged Learning Starts Here...
And Your Journey Continues...
The Martin-Webb Baptist Learning Center, Home of the N. J. Brockman School of Theology.
THE MARTIN-WEBB BAPTIST LEARNING CENTER, INC. officially began in 1952 when Southern Baptists and National Baptists came together to sponsor training and nurture to local black ministers and laypeople. We have been training ministers and laypersons for leadership and church ministry since 1952.
The N. J. Brockman School of Theology is housed within the Martin-Webb Baptist Learning Center. It's purpose is to educate and develop able and effective Christian leaders at all levels for service in Christian ministries. The N. J. Brockman School of Theology Alma Mater was written and composed by The Late Rev. Dr. Ronald D. Barton.
From The Director
Welcome. There is a need for qualified and knowledgeable servants in His Kingdom, and at the Martin-Webb Baptist Learning Center and the N. J. Brockman School of Theology, we can help you achieve those goals. We are dedicated to training ministers, pastors, students and laymen in the theological Bible-based standard, in addition to reaching out to provide learning experiences for our community.
Through Martin-Webb's training and Summer Outreach programs, and our diploma, degree and bachelors program, we enable persons of all levels of training and expertise to expand their insight and perspective in biblical studies and/or ministry.
"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth." 2 Tim.2:15
